1. Add an Option to Hide Global IP Address in Box Sign Signature Logs

   Currently, when using Box Sign to request a signature, the signature log that can be obtained after completion displays the global IP address of the requester.

   In our company, the global IP address is treated as confidential information and is considered highly sensitive according to our internal policies. Therefore, having this information visible in the signature log, which can be accessed by the recipient, is a significant concern for us.

   For privacy protection and compliance with company regulations, we strongly request the implementation of a feature that prevents the global IP address from being recorded or displayed in Box Sign signature logs.

4. I would like the number of managed users to be displayed in real time.

   Regarding counting managed users in Admin Console > Users & Groups, the current design has a delay of one or few hours before accurate number is reflected.
   While we can use reports to see the exact number of users, it would be better to be able to see the number immediately after adding or removing users more intuitively.

5. API Support for Managing Shared Links on Hubs

   This request is to add Box API capabilities to view, create, update, and remove Shared Links for Hubs. Currently, there is no API support for managing Shared Links on Hubs, which limits automation and integration with enterprise workflows.

   Enabling this functionality would allow for programmatic control of Hub sharing, improve governance, and support scalable content distribution strategies.

6. Do not send notifications to group members when inviting a group to Hubs, as is the case when inviting a group to a folder.

   Currently, when you invite a group to Box Hubs, all group members receive a notification.
   However, if there are many group members, if all group members receive the email, it may violate some rules of Exchange Online.
   Therefore, I would like to see an improvement so that notifications are not sent to group members when inviting a group to Hubs, as is the case when inviting a group to a folder.

7. Bulk grant and remove permissions to Box Hub.

   When BoxHubs is managed by an administrator, it is necessary to be able to grant or revoke access permissions to BoxHubs in bulk in order to manage users who can access BoxHubs.
   The current functionality requires granting access permissions to a large number of BoxHubs, which would be too time-consuming to do manually.
   For example, a tenant using BoxHubs manages around 80 to 100 BoxHubs,
   It would take too much time and effort to do all of this manually, one by one.

9. New Box Drive for Windows (Cloud Files): Improve Explorer UX during startup/connecting to avoid unstable/incorrect folder state

   Problem (What problem could Box solve for you?)
   When Windows starts, the new Box Drive (Cloud Files architecture) auto-connects. During this “connecting/initializing” period, the Box Drive folder becomes visible in File Explorer even though Box Drive is not fully running/ready. The folder view is unstable: some items show missing icons/status, and opening folders can result in errors. This happens consistently across multiple users in our pilot.
   This behavior may be aligned with the feature “Box Drive folders remain accessible even when the Box Drive application is not running,” but exposing a partially-initialized state causes confusion and support tickets (users think Drive is broken or content is missing).

   Proposed improvement
   Please improve the File Explorer experience while Box Drive is starting/connecting/initializing so users do not see an unstable or misleading folder state. For example:
   Show a clear “Box Drive is connecting/initializing” placeholder and block navigation until ready; and/or
   Provide an admin/user option to delay/hide the Box Drive mount until Drive is connected; and/or
   Ensure cached vs. not-yet-available content is clearly indicated without throwing generic Windows errors.

   Steps to reproduce
   1.Install new Box Drive for Windows (Cloud Files architecture), version 2.48 (pilot).
   2.Ensure Box Drive is configured to auto-start on Windows login.
   3.Reboot the PC and open File Explorer immediately after login.
   4.Observe Box folder becomes visible before Drive is fully ready; icons may be missing/blank; opening folders may show errors.

   Impact
   ・End-user confusion (“Drive is broken”, “files disappeared”)
   ・Increased helpdesk tickets and delays in rollout/adoption of the new Box Drive

12. Using public Beta for Folder Insights with Editor permissions

    Most users who need Folder Insights are editors.
    Also, invitations are often restricted for security reasons.
    I would like to see Folder Insights and reports downloadable even for invite-restricted editors.

    When utilizing Box’s API, if the amount of content per folder is enormous or the number of invitations to a folder is high, the processing speed drops significantly. As a result, it takes a long time to complete operations, which is quite frustrating.

    We would like the API to deliver a more comfortable and speedy processing experience, so I hope you will improve the performance when using the API.

    Additionally, there are currently no guidelines regarding API performance, so we have no choice but to verify performance degradation through testing.

    This is hindering proactive API development. Please create clear guidelines that specify the details regarding API performance.

15. I want to reuse the content entered in File Request as a task message

    We are running tasks in a Relay workflow, triggered by uploads via File Request.

    In Box’s current specifications, the “file description” entered by users in the File Request form is saved in the file’s description field in its properties after upload.

    However, when the Relay workflow starts, the message sent to the task assignee is the one configured in Relay. This message is recorded under the file’s “Activity,” but we also need to check the description field in the file properties, which means switching views and creates extra work.

    If there were a feature that allowed us to set the content entered in the File Request as the Relay task message, we would be able to use that instead of the current operational workaround.

    As Box is evolving more into metadata driven workflows for digital asset library use cases, we need the ability for end users (non admins) to be able to adjust metadata templates specific to their use case or business unit. For example, we'd like to have a champion from Marketing be able to adjust JUST the metadata templates specific to their group, not any metadata templates related to Legal or Sales.

    The headquarters IT department wants to automate the monthly task of issuing invoices for system usage fees to the group’s local subsidiaries.

    [Customer Needs]
    They want to implement the following workflow as a web-based solution without custom development.

    1. Enter invoice data per subsidiary via Forms
    2. Generate the invoice with Doc Gen
    3. Send a signature request to the manager via Box Sign
    4. After the manager signs, move the document to the shared folder with the local subsidiary

    At present, this could be achieved by using the Doc Gen API, but that would require application development, which is a significant hurdle for the customer.

    If the above can be done on the web without custom development, they believe it could be reused in other scenarios and accelerate broader business process automation.

    以下の業務プロセスをカスタム開発なしの Web ベースのワークフローとして実現したい。

    1. Forms で法人ごとに請求書データを入力
    2. Doc Gen で請求書を生成
    3. Box Sign で上司に署名リクエストを送信
    4. 上司の署名完了後、現地法人との共有フォルダにドキュメントを移動

    現状、Doc Gen API を使えば実現可能だが、アプリケーション開発が必要になり、顧客にとってハードルが高い。
    上記が Web ベースで実現できれば、他の業務シーンにも横展開でき、顧客の業務自動化を加速できると考えている。
