   In the Excel preview screen, pressing left and right ([←] and [→]) on the keyboard scrolls the file if a cell is already selected.
   However, when the preview screen is open and no cells are selected, it switches to another file.

   It is confusing for users that the keyboard behaves differently depending on the file and cell selection status. We request the ability to change settings to prevent file switching.

3. Allow BoxDrive search to be limited to files and folders names

   The current BoxDrive search will search the contents of the file as well.
   We would like to be able to narrow down the search target when searching, because sometimes it is enough to search only the file name or folder name.

5. User can perform multi-doc AI queries from the Box Apps view

   Currently a user can only select files in a folder to run a multi-doc query. They should also be able to select files in a Box Apps view to perform multi-doc AI queries.

6. Add additional file attribute filters when viewing files

   Currently there are only 3 file filter attributes. (Name, Updated, Size) Would like to add additional file details to the UI. For example, if a file is received via File Request and file description is enabled, have that available for view right on the screen instead of having it to hover the "i" icon to view the details

7. Sync my desktop files on a Mac to Box

   Feature suggestion: if there's any way for us to sync my desktop files on a Mac to Box - that would be HUGE for our end users. Similar to how Macs work today where content on desktop is saved to iCloud - work with Apple so that Box can be used as the content storage area of choice instead.

8. I want to be able to bulk rename files and folders within a specified folder

   Bulk renaming files and folders in a specified Box folder though the web interface is a missing feature.

   It would be helpful to be able to do so, as often clients or projects change name and the "CompanyA - content of the folder" or "ProjectA - content of the folder" names need to be renamed as "CompanyB - content of the folder" or "ProjectB - content of the folder".

   When a company or project folder contains hundreds or thousands of names a string command like "rename text *** to text YYY in al files and folder names" could be extremely helpful (as an example, on MacOSX there's a Finder script for this). This feature is not available on the Box web interface.

10. HTML should be rendered in Preview mode again

    HTML files appear to no longer be rendering the HTML. Instead, they are just showing me the content of the HTML code.

11. Auto-open files when downloaded from Outlook to Box Drive

    Currently when one downloads files from Outlook to box drive on one's laptop/desktop, one has to then go to that folder using file explorer (often several clicks or using the quick access menu) to open the file and then editing it. It would be very useful to have an auto open feature once the file is downloaded. Similar features are already available while using say Gmail on the web browser or even downloading a file from WhatsApp's desktop app.

12. Toolbar vanishes randomly

    When multiple files are selected the toolbar goes invisble and right click options are reduced to a minimum. The chance increases with every selected file which makes it practically impossible to move multiple files/folders at the same time.

14. Auto deleting files from my desktop once they are moved into box

    Hi- question on moving files. Say I create a document on my desktop and then drag and drop it into box. The original document on my desktop is not deleted. I would like this to happen automatically so I am not editing the most recent file. Is this an account preference with box or with with my computer?

    Example: I create a document file on my desktop just by opening up a Microsoft Word document. I then finish the document file and drag and drop into my box drive on my hard drive, but the file still exists on my desktop. I would like it to only exist in box once I drag and drop it into box drive from my desktop.

15. support editing of Open Office .odt, ods, and .odp files in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides

    I'm asking for Box not to block certain file compatibility functionality that is aIready within Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets, when not used through Box. I would like to edit Open Office Formats .odt , .odp, and .ods files, preferably from with Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets respectively. MS Word does not support Open Office formats, otherwise I would request that as well. Somehow, Box is blocking Google Sheets and Docs from opening their Open Office file formats (.ods, .odp and .odt). Normally, Google Docs can open .odt files, if Box is not "in the way". See attached images of Google Docs successfully opening a .odt file, for example. I don't think that being able to edit files from Box preview, in general, for any type of file, is a good idea, based on other how other Box preview edit functionality has turned out. I hope this helps clarify what I'm looking for.

16. Selective Bulk Trash Restoration

    Enable the ability to further filter trash folders by folder path and date deleted and perform a bulk operation to restore affected files. Alternatively allow a view to see a full list of all deleted items, rather than the smaller pages.

    The current bulk method is to restore all deleted items in trash. In organizations where the trash retention is set to never auto-delete, trashed files are maintained indefinitely which can create a very large trash folder for users. We do not want to restore files and folders for all time, just a select period.

    Example:
    Files below a specific folder structure Main>Tier>* (folder or file) were deleted by a user inadvertently. There were 70+ pages of files in that user's trash folder out of 164 that needed to be fully restored. The only method to do so was to highlight each page and restore page by page. Instead, filtering by the relevant criteria including deleting user, date, and folder structure affected, then bulk restoring all files identified would save significant time.

17. Link to searchable files on a website.

    Want a public facing search function that can be deployed on websites with Box as the back end.
    Use Case: I have several hundred newsletters in an archive in PDF format. I want a public facing link or window that the public can see without having to login into Box.
    The Box embed widget gives me a window BUT is not a good user experience. They don't need to be dragging one cloud onto another or logging into box.
    Box is great for storing and updating these files--but not for a public facing display.

19. Do not show Box files tab automatically in every Microsoft Teams channel a user has access to

    By default, when a user connects a Box folder with a MS Teams channel using the Box plugin for the first time, suddenly a Box files tab appears in any Teams channel the user has access to (no maztter if the user is owner or just member). This happens to all stanard channels (private channels don't work with Box Teams Plugin)
    This is absolutely confusing, especially when using MS Teams in a company/enterprise. The box files tabs are not linked to any Box folder. They need to be removed manually everywhere.

    Can you please implement a control which prevents creating these unused Box tab folders.

20. Search for keywords in File content and not only in file names

    Just like Explorer search, Box should be able to list PDF files that contain the keywoard in their content and not only in the File name.

    Example:
    If using Box to store CVs, Box should be able to list CVs that has a specific skill.
