Report on downloaded files across several folders
We would like to generate a report which shows how many files were downloaded across several folders within Box. We have a team that is looking to monitor the usage of certain files which are saved in Box across a number of individual client folders. We can see the downloads of individual reports through Box online, but there are a few hundred folders and that would be too time consuming to go through individually.

Organize feed by chronological updates
Now that the Updates tab doesn't let you go back further than 24 hours, you should be able to check the "Feed" and see all previews/downloads/etc going back in time. Right now it's all organized in a seemingly random fashion and it's unhelpful

Custom error messages when shared links cannot be accessed
【Request】
I'd like to be able to customize the error message when I can't access a shared link in Enterprise settings.【Current Status and Issues】
The current error message is
"This shared file or folder link has been removed or is unavailable to you.
Think it's a mistake? No worries: Just email the owner or get in touch with Box support. We're here to help."However, it doesn't help with the next step at all.
Even if the owner or administrator is contacted, they often can't identify the file and can't provide any support.
Also, it is not always possible…1 vote -
Invited folders cannot be consolidated by collaborator
I am invited to view individual accounts by an outside company. I would like to be able to move these folders into a “company A” folder so that they are not at the top level of my box drive.

Shared Box Sign group status dashboard / Ability to share sign requests with team members
When sending out Box Sign requests we need the ability for multiple team members to check in on how current Box Sign requests are progressing. They can't be tied to just the sender as sometimes staff work part-time and another staff member has to go in and push the signature along.
It would be amazing to see Box Sign have access to groups for a group based dashboard e.g. Finance Team. That would enable everyone in the group to go in and track the current Sign requests and push them along when another team member isn't around to do so.

Report of folders with no content
Need a report that shows all folders with no content inside. Also need to see the date last modified, and the users associated. Reason being, we need to clean up and archive appropriately for long term scalability. This is specifically related to the salesforce integration.

Ability to opt-out from Group collaboration or hide group collaborated folders under All Files.
If collaborated as Group, the folder appears under All Files whether the user want to see it or not.
After a while, all of these folders would show up under the user's All Files and would be very hard to manage.
Thus, ability to opt-out from group collaboration or ability to "hide" folders under All Files is needed.

Hide/restrict files from view in a shared folder
I would love to see the ability to hide/restrict viewing options for a single file/item within a Box folder.
For example, only 3 people would need to be able to view and edit this file although 20 people may have access to the shared folder itself. The other 17 individuals would not know the file is listed there because they do not have viewing access.
This would help reduce the need to save that file's information someplace separate from the rest of the pertinent folder information.

Change the target of "Application Restrictions" (shared link creation / DL, etc.)
【English】
If "Restrict to applications" is turned on, all users will not be able to perform operations such as DL, editing, and creating shared links at once.
We would like to see a change so that the target of "Application Restrictions" (shared link creation / DL, etc.) can be specified.【
2 votes -
"My Sign Requests", "My Canvases" and "My Signed Documents" folders need to be restricted
"My Sign Requests", "My Canvases" and "My Signed Documents" folders are created as private folders technically by Box, without any admin intervention. When using a closed folder structure, these folders can still be used by users to build their own folder structures, as they become the owner of this folder. This counteracts the idea of a closed folder system and represents a massive security gap. Users can then build folder structures and content in our box instance without any control by the admin and share them with external users.
These technically generated folders must therefore be restricted accordingly, or admins…

Automatically add a Group to all existing folders of an email address
Our department has been sharing one email address to manage Box folders. Now we want to use our individual emails and add our Group to the existing folders to maintain them. Currently we would have to select the folders individually and there are thousands so that is not realistic. It would be nice if there was a select all option for these folders to add our Group to.

Report or visibility into folders set up to receive emails and upload files to Box
It would be super helpful to know as an Admin any folders that are set up to accept emails and upload files to box folders. There is no report or visibility in this. As cyber attacks increase, we need to verify and make sure we know all of our external facing components - not knowing what folders has this component is a concern we have.

files/folders display order in the browser.
Since the display order of files/folders in the browser version of Box is dynamically changed in the order of new and updated, it is often difficult to find files/folders, so I would like to change the display order like Windows Explorer.

Request for improvement of behavior when posting a shared link of a Box folder in a Teams channel or chat
When you post a Box shared link in a Teams channel or chat, you'll see a Grant Access card with the option to grant users additional permissions if the following conditions are true:
condition:If there are channel members or chat members who do not have access permissions to the shared folder or file.
*This includes channel members and chat members who are invited as a group but not directly invited as users. The support article states that when you grant access, the card will update and a content card with file details will be displayed.

Show only the actively used folders and don't show folders rarely accessed.
Allow users to set "rules" to decide which folders/files to show up under All Files. (Wants to show only the actively accessed folders)
