1. Manage default Box Drive install folder in Admin Console

   To configure the Box Drive folder location, registry keys need to be pushed to all workstations. The customer would like it if there was a setting in the Box Admin Console where you could set the new folder paths for Windows and Mac, and then when a user logs into Box Drive, it would automatically update the registry. This would save admins from having to worry about new users or anyone they might miss with a manual push.

6. Request for improvement to the number of users without access displayed on the content card in Box for Teams

   If the user has only been invited as a group, they will be counted and shown as "without access" even though they have access permissions because they are not a direct collaborator.
   We are aware that this behavior is documented in a support article.
   However, the display differs from the actual situation and may induce incorrect responses, as described below.
   Therefore, we would like to request a fix so that it shows the accurate number of users without access, whether they are direct collaborators or group collaborators.

   　ex）
   　1.Even though the target user has access rights as a group, there is a risk that the user may be deemed to not have access rights and may be given access rights again as an individual user.
   　2.Even if access rights are truly required, there is a risk that the current incorrect display of the number of users without access rights will lead to missed access rights being granted.

7. Export Groups - Add an 'Export Groups' Button to Groups Summary Page & Individual Group Page

   There is currently no way for admins to export a report (xlsx) of their Groups - whether at the summary Groups level or at the individual Group level

   This is problematic for companies that have pages and pages of Groups in the Admin Console, or want to manage just one group (as the current Export Users report from the Users page - the only place any Group info IS currently exported - exports ALL users in an EID, which is overload).

   REQUEST 1: Groups Summary Export - Desired Columns:
   1 Row per Group / Mirror the Columns on the Groups Page
   --Group Name
   --# of Users in Group
   --# of Folders the Group is Added to

   REQUEST 2: Individual Group-Level Export - Desired Columns:
   1 Row per User in Group
   --Group Member Name
   --Group Member Email
   --Group Member Role (Member or Admin/Team Lead)
   On a separate tab of the export
   1 Row per folder that the Group is collaborated on
   --Folder Name
   --Folder Owner
   --Group's Permission to that Folder

   E.g. if someone is on holiday, sick, or leaves the company, we want to use API's to group together all of their existing workflows and/or tasks, and transfer those to a new person.

   We are looking to generate a user activity report on folders created only. Currently, user activity has file management > uploaded as an option which will include files uploaded and folders created but we would just like folders created and not files uploaded.

10. Please Allow an Approval or Denial workflow for Auto Roll-in user creaiton

    Please allow for Admins to allow or deny auto roll-in requests.

    While I understand we can be notified of user creation and take action from there, it would be more beneficial for organization to approve or deny requests to roll in.

    At the very least, allow us the option to block the requests or have a custom message that directs the user to their helpdesk or IT to get the account permissions. This would seriously help us be more secure while avoiding contract violations.

11. File request - Block upload of domains not on enterprise allowlisted domains

    For File Request where Enterprise requires user to login prior to submission, would like an additional security check for Enterprises that only allow for external collaboration from allowed domains as listed in the Enterprise console. If the domain is on the list then allow for file request upload, if domain is not on the allowlisted domains, block upload.

12. The ability for user to check for new updates within Box Drive.

    Can you please add a check for updates option in the box icon in the taskbar? I run into versions that are old on users pcs that either user ignored updates or never get a prompt and I know there is a new version available .

13. Enhance description of "Shared Contacts" setting for User Permissions

    Area of product: Admin Console > choose admin/co-admin user > Edit user details > Edit User Access Permissions > Shared Contacts > description bubble

    Currently this describes "Allow this user to see all managed users. If enabled, this user will be able to access other managed users in their contacts when inviting collaborators. External users will not show up in their contacts unless they are already collaborating with each other."

    However, if this is unchecked it also prohibits Admins/Co-Admins from searching for managed users in Reporting and other areas of the Admin Console. Which is not mentioned or hinted at in the description of the setting.

    For external collaborations, it shows the date the collaboration is going to end when it's first set in the user activity to report as
    -Action: Collaboration expiration
    -Details: To: YYYY-MM-DD

    However when you extend this period, the "To: YYYY-MM-DD" isn't displayed so you don't know until when it's extended until unless you go the individual folder/file itself and look at the "clock" mark manually.
    In the report
    -Action: Extend collaborator expiration
    -Details: [Blank]

    The customer wants to have a grasp of each expiration dates so they're saying looking at each item manually on Box is impractical.
    They would like the extended expiration dates to be shown in their user activity reports.

15. Cleanup and Enhance the file/folder webhook events to cover all the happy paths (new file, new file version, restore previous version)

    As a Box Application Developer I want to be able to receive a unique, webhook events for the following scenarios:

    1. User uploads new file (brand new binary object placed into a Box Folder) - Folder based event (exists: FILE.UPLOADED)
    2. User uploads a new file version - File AND Folder based event (e.g. FILE_NEW.VERSION)
    3. User restores a previous file version - File AND Folder based event (e.g. FILE_RESTORE.VERSION)

    As the owner of an enterprise application that has deep integration in the BOX platform, it is surprising that I have no way to use the Webhooks to monitor files for new versions and restoring of previous version while only having new file versions tied to the folder.

    The existing event of File.Upload is not connected to the file event, which is an issue. In addition it covers more than one event, a new file in the folder and a new file version to a file in that folder.

    t is not a good practice to have different application actions covered by the same event as it adds complexity to application developers when trying to build unique actions / functions based on the discrete events.

    By having separate file events this would allow a better programmatic experience.

    As a Box Application Developer I want to be able to receive a unique, webhook events for the following scenarios:

16. Name in the notification email of Box Relay should be the initiator of a workflow rather than workflow owner/creator.

    Currently the name displyaed in the notification email of Box Relay is the name who owned/created the workflow.
    It's idal to be displayed Name of initiator of a workflow in the notification email especially in caseunspecified majority of people might launch the workflow by manual.
    Enabling the above feature makes it much easier to confirm user who start the flow.

17. Add information about when users clicks a bookmark to the user activity report

    Currently, the behavior when users click a bookmark created in Box and move to the link destination is not included in the user activity report.
    Administrators want to check which they used bookmarks and when from Box and which sites they accessed from the log.

    I enabled Cascading Metadata, but can only use existing Metadata Templates. When I try to use custom Metadata that is not an existing template, I get error: "Cascade policy cannot be applied to custom metadata at this time."

    I do not have option to not accept the collaboration invitation when content is shared with a user group that I belong to. Is there a way to have the option to not accept the invitation when invited by a user group that I am part of it.
