1. Warning before the duplicates of a request get deleted deleted (file system)

   The caution before the document sign was issued on is deleted.

   When Box Sign is issued, the file will be duplicated and the sign will be progressed on the dupulicated one.
   Separating the file into the duplicated one and not is good idea.
   However these days, our users have trashed the duplicated one mistakenly.
   I want you to tell them the caution before it is deleted.

2. Improve Quarantine capabilities in Box Governance

   mprove Quarantine capabilities in Box Governance - specifically when it relates to file types like .eml or .msg.
   1) Allow for exceptions - e.g. quarantine all content that is uploaded with .msg, but allow it for Y folder. Use case: one team in particular needs to be able to save this type of content to Box and has permission from legal to do so.
   2) Change the "Email" option to include "User who violated the policy" - for example, in addition to sending a warning email to Admins who want to track upload of .eml files, also send the email to the person who violated the policy. Currently, this is done if you quarantine, but the email does not go out to the violator if only the notification setting is turned on.

3. Create custom alerts if user/subset of users performs "X" amount of Downloads/Copies in "Y" amount of time

   We would like the ability to Create custom alerts to send email notifications if any user, or a specific subset of users, performs "X" amount of Downloads/Copies/Shares/Uploads/etc in "Y" amount of time (where we can select what "X" and "Y" are). We know that there is a way to setup a "Content Security - Download" policy that will send email notifications if download activity is "Low, Medium or High" based on your preset definitions of what that means (for instance "High = 12 per hour" in the preset rule), but that doesn't necessarily correspond to what we would want to flag as "High" usage. For instance, we would like to setup an alert that triggers if someone runs maybe 40 or 50 downloads in an hour, but 12 an hour would be fairly common.

4. Generate report that includes folders where users have set notifications

   We need a report that allows us to see which folders users have set notifications for.
   If there is a problem that does not get notified, the administrator can check the report to find out what is going on.

5. Notify Owners and Co-Owner on colaborators expiry

   It seems that today only the colaborators are infomed prior to colaborator expiry. From my poinbt of view it would be important, that both Owners and Co-Owners receive the expiry information too. I our setup Box system users own all level 0 shared folders, so Co-Owners would be required to receive the notifications as well.

6. Delete user capability

   Remove the "Get started with Box.pdf" file that is automatically added to each user. This becomes a 1.8 mb content for the user. As users are offboarded, this is content that needs to be transferred to someone before their account can be deleted. The information contained in that PDF can be housed in the help, announcements or notifications.

7. Request to automate shared link generation upon file upload

   A customer regularly uploads files into multiple folders (with different locations and hierarchy levels) and then has to generate a shared link for each file. Currently, they need to create each link manually, which is quite time-consuming.

   It would be very helpful if features such as Relay could automate this process by automatically generating shared links for uploaded files and sending notifications with created links

8. Remove or Show a Different Box Admin Address to Enterprise Users

   In the Account tab of the user Account Settings screen, users can scroll down & see our Box Admin service account e-mail address, which we need to keep invisible. (We certainly don't want users spamming it when we have a help desk.)

   How can we either eliminate showing the Admin Contact here or show a different address? (This should be an Admin Console setting.)

   This part of the product design does not show any regard for an enterprise with more than a few IT folks.

10. Option to have approval process for sharing a folder or file.

    In some folders, you want to allow, shared links, but would like to have some management oversight of this process. It would be beneficial at a parent folder level (and therefore cascading to all children folder) to have the option to "request to share file" in addition to the other functions related to restricting link creation or collaborator invitation.
    Instead of relying on the "appropriate party" to be configured to receive notifications that an item has been shared, this would allow them to be ahead of the curve before a share is actually created.

11. removal of the delete confirmation prompt in the Box Drive app

    Hey there,

    I’d like to request the removal of the delete confirmation prompt in the Box Drive app for Mac. When I delete a file, the system prompts me to confirm the action, which I find unnecessary and disruptive to my workflow. Since deleting a file requires deliberate actions—right-clicking and selecting delete—the additional confirmation step is redundant.

    In my line of work, I frequently delete files, and this extra step adds unnecessary friction to my process. If a file is deleted by mistake, it can easily be restored from the Trash folder, making the confirmation prompt an unnecessary inconvenience.

    I would greatly appreciate it if this feature could be reconsidered or if an option to disable it could be provided.

12. Enhancement of Management Console Features for Tracking Item Counts in Folders

    While the Box management console allows us to check the data usage capacity, we would like to request the implementation of a feature that enables us to view the number of items in each folder. Although Box can be utilized with unlimited data capacity, we have been advised by Box that behavior may become unstable if the item count in any root folder exceeds 10 million items.

    Given this situation, it would be greatly beneficial to enrich the administrative functionalities on the management console. We would like to see features such as displaying the “current item count” for each root folder, “predicted future item count” calculated by AI based on past growth rates, and “alerts” for when the number of items is nearing 10 million.

13. Remove 'Get our app to view this on mobile' Text/Link in Emails for EMM-Enabled EIDs OR Allow Link Customization

    For customers that use Box for EMM (and have disabled the standard Box apps), the 'get our app to view this on mobile' link/text in the standard Box email notifications (like for @mentions, uploads, etc.) is confusing because users in that EID won't actually be able to log into the standard Box app that it links to.

    REQUEST:
    1. Either provide the option to remove this text from emails
    OR
    2. Allow customization of this text to change the link that it points to (so a customer can link to their software/app catalog where users download the Box for EMM app)

14. My folder has disappeared on 25th Feb

    For some reason my folder called "NewCo spin-off" has disappeared on 25th of Feb. I talked with IBM support for 2 hours, the girl said that she will raise a ticket but she didn't. 15. Box drains my iphone 7 battery, even though it shouldn't be open or running in the background

    Each morning I use a "Numbers" app file which is saved to Box on my iphone so that I can use it on my MacBook pro. The problem is whilst I haven't directly opened the Box app to do this save, it opens and continues to run in the background and drain the battery (60% in an hour is typical). Eventhough in the app settings "Background app refresh" is off as is "Notifications", I can only stop this drain if I turn the phone off and back on again. I am running ios 14.2 and I keep all apps up-to-date. Any thoughts or solutions would be most welcome.

16. Clarify that the "__ additional items" link in batch email notifications don't apply to the user listed above it

    Currently when batch notifications contain more actions, there is a note at the bottom that says "[number] additional items. Click View All to view."

    However, the placement of it is immediately below another user's action, which could be interpreted as "x additional items" acted on by that user, when that isn't the case.

17. a better way to handle people wanting to collaborate with you - scams

    Once scammers have your email address you receive a TON of "user x added you to collaborate with" communications and it is very tedious to remove (decline) them, as you have to do it one by one, each taking multiple clicks. make a way for me to "select all" those who want to collaborate with me and decline them ALL at once. I'm so close to just deleting my box account as I get 2-3 notifications of people (scammers) wanting to collaborate with me and takes me a long time to decline them all.
