2. a better way to handle people wanting to collaborate with you - scams

   Once scammers have your email address you receive a TON of "user x added you to collaborate with" communications and it is very tedious to remove (decline) them, as you have to do it one by one, each taking multiple clicks. make a way for me to "select all" those who want to collaborate with me and decline them ALL at once. I'm so close to just deleting my box account as I get 2-3 notifications of people (scammers) wanting to collaborate with me and takes me a long time to decline them all.

4. Remove 'Get our app to view this on mobile' Text/Link in Emails for EMM-Enabled EIDs OR Allow Link Customization

   For customers that use Box for EMM (and have disabled the standard Box apps), the 'get our app to view this on mobile' link/text in the standard Box email notifications (like for @mentions, uploads, etc.) is confusing because users in that EID won't actually be able to log into the standard Box app that it links to.

   REQUEST:
   1. Either provide the option to remove this text from emails
   OR
   2. Allow customization of this text to change the link that it points to (so a customer can link to their software/app catalog where users download the Box for EMM app)

6. Box drains my iphone 7 battery, even though it shouldn't be open or running in the background

   Each morning I use a "Numbers" app file which is saved to Box on my iphone so that I can use it on my MacBook pro. The problem is whilst I haven't directly opened the Box app to do this save, it opens and continues to run in the background and drain the battery (60% in an hour is typical). Eventhough in the app settings "Background app refresh" is off as is "Notifications", I can only stop this drain if I turn the phone off and back on again. I am running ios 14.2 and I keep all apps up-to-date. Any thoughts or solutions would be most welcome.

7. removal of the delete confirmation prompt in the Box Drive app

   Hey there,

   I’d like to request the removal of the delete confirmation prompt in the Box Drive app for Mac. When I delete a file, the system prompts me to confirm the action, which I find unnecessary and disruptive to my workflow. Since deleting a file requires deliberate actions—right-clicking and selecting delete—the additional confirmation step is redundant.

   In my line of work, I frequently delete files, and this extra step adds unnecessary friction to my process. If a file is deleted by mistake, it can easily be restored from the Trash folder, making the confirmation prompt an unnecessary inconvenience.

   I would greatly appreciate it if this feature could be reconsidered or if an option to disable it could be provided.

8. Enhancement of Management Console Features for Tracking Item Counts in Folders

   While the Box management console allows us to check the data usage capacity, we would like to request the implementation of a feature that enables us to view the number of items in each folder. Although Box can be utilized with unlimited data capacity, we have been advised by Box that behavior may become unstable if the item count in any root folder exceeds 10 million items.

   Given this situation, it would be greatly beneficial to enrich the administrative functionalities on the management console. We would like to see features such as displaying the “current item count” for each root folder, “predicted future item count” calculated by AI based on past growth rates, and “alerts” for when the number of items is nearing 10 million.

9. My folder has disappeared on 25th Feb

   For some reason my folder called "NewCo spin-off" has disappeared on 25th of Feb. I talked with IBM support for 2 hours, the girl said that she will raise a ticket but she didn't. Below is the chat. Can you please investigate this issue - why did it happen? People were using it and all of them ask me where the data is.

12. Clarify that the "__ additional items" link in batch email notifications don't apply to the user listed above it

    Currently when batch notifications contain more actions, there is a note at the bottom that says "[number] additional items. Click View All to view."

    However, the placement of it is immediately below another user's action, which could be interpreted as "x additional items" acted on by that user, when that isn't the case.

16. Forced termination of suspicious outbound collaboration

    We request implementation of a method for administrators to forcibly cancel invitations received by users under their management.

    While outbound collaboration in Box is free and convenient, it is also highly dangerous.
    It can be exploited by attackers seeking to misplace files or spread malicious files by sending invitations, or by employees planning to leave who receive invitations from their personal accounts to extract information.

    While inbound collaboration allows logging, outbound collaboration does not even permit this, leaving administrators virtually powerless.

    Currently, administrators can only take the following two actions against these highly dangerous behaviors:
    ① Control “future” outbound collaboration via Box Governance domain whitelisting
    ② Generate a list of outbound collaborations via reports

    Option ① cannot address outbound collaborations that have already occurred.
    Option ② only allows for advisory notifications to the affected users.

    Implementation of a response method for cases where your company's users have already been invited is required.
    At the very least, please enable the output of collaboration IDs in the outbound collaboration report. With this alone, you can use the API to revoke access.
