1. Box Shuttle connect with SharePoint using a personal Microsoft account

   We are trying to sync a SharePoint site data into box periodically by using Box shuttle. It can be done through a O365 admin account to build this migration successfully.

   However, we need to sync from a partner's SharePoint Site with a Microsoft personal outlook account since they think provide a SharePoint admin role for us to sync is too risky. Although this personal account had been invited into organization and shared as SharePoint site owner. When we try to build the migration between SharePoint online and Box by using this personal account, it will always fail during SharePoint authentication, and get following error:

   AADSTS500200: User account 'testsharepointwithbrii@outlook.com' is a personal Microsoft account. Personal Microsoft accounts are not supported for this application unless explicitly invited to an organization. Try signing out and signing back in with an organizational account.

   We had tried many times to invite this personal account to organization, but still failed every time we try to authentication SharePoint. Then we confirmed with Box support, and seems this type of authentication is not allowed in Box Shuttle-SharePoint connection. So hope in future, Box could support this type of connection

2. Ready-Sign Links: Ability to make signers optional

   Currently, ready-sign links require all signers to be assigned (i.e. I must enter an email address for signer 1 and signer 2). This means that one can't create a ready-sign link when multiple signers might be (but aren't always) needed.

   Examples:

   • A registration form for an event where all attendees in the party need to sign. If there is only one attendee, there are no additional signers (and those fields would be left blank)

   • A form that must also be signed by a parent if the primary signer is a minor. If the primary signer is NOT a minor, no additional signature is needed.

   Currently, ready-sign links require all signers to be assigned (i.e. I must enter an email address for signer 1 and signer 2). This means that one can't create a ready-sign link when multiple signers might be (but aren't always) needed.

   Examples:

3. Display of confirmation message screen to prevent accidental operation of Box Drive

   When using Box Drive, it is common for users to accidentally delete, move, or copy files.

   When manipulating large numbers of files, this failure can lead to serious information leaks and other problems.
   Therefore, it would be helpful to improve functionality such as displaying a confirmation message when deleting, moving, or copying files to better prevent accidental operations.

5. Custom suggested questions assigned to a Box AI agent

   Need ability to craft our own custom suggested questions (i.e. quick select user prompts) at time of creating a custom agents in the AI Studio. These suggested questions should latch to the relevant custom agent so that when a user selects a unique agent, the suggested questions that are presented to them are specific to that agent purpose.

   There are incidents where editor users accidentally move folders to other folders at the same level due to operational mistakes.

   Most of these mistakes are not intentional; they often occur when using a pen tool on smart devices, trackpads on laptops, or trackballs while handling images.

   When this happens, even though it is within the same tree hierarchy, the operation enters a so-called locked state until completion, meaning that undo operations cannot be accepted. This can have significant impacts on business operations.

   Therefore, if there were a management option that only prohibits drag-and-drop movement operations for users, it would allow intended movements while preventing unintended actions.

   Note: The Folder Lock API does not meet this purpose as it prevents user movement operations altogether.

8. Classify multiple Box Shield alerts at the same time

   We recently had a user upload a lot of content to their Box account in one go during a migration from local file storage to cloud storage. There was a lot of really old data that Box detected as being malicious (over 700 files). Based on spot checks throughout the data, we've determined that the data is not actually malicious and is a false positive. With the current UI, it'd take forever to mark each of the 700+ alerts as a false positive. It would be much nicer to be able to multi-select the alerts from the main list and submit them all as false positives in one go.

9. Viewer uploader Role is restricted of downloading classified documents

   Currently, users with the Viewer Uploader role are restricted from downloading classified content when Box Shield is enabled.
   Promotion to Editor role is unwanted as it might lead to data deletion and editing.
   can we allow this feature so we can keep enforcing the policy?

10. Fix the display issues

    Most times when I hover the cursor over a file I get icons that show up allowing me to easily Add to Collection, Create and Copy Shared Link, Share, and a select box at the end of these options. However, sometimes when I log in and hover over a file I do not get any of these options. When these don't appear the only way I can send someone a link seems to be to open the file in Box. I don't get an option to create a shared link even when I right click a file and look at those options.

    Please fix this so that these options always display. I am running the latest version of Windows with the latest version of Chrome on two machines. Currently my laptop shows the options when I log in and my desktop does not. I don't know why there would be a difference.

11. Suspicious Location Shield Alert

    Allow for tagging Safe Locations against particular users, rather than having to exclude a user from alerts all together. Example; Offshore support in a country like India, where this shouldn't be treated as a suspicious location for this particular user, even though the rest of the organisation is based in Australia

12. Box AI for Hubs for External Users

    Currently, in order for an external user to use AI for a Hub they are invited into, the external user's EID must also have Enterprise Plus AND have enabled AI for Hubs.

    We would like an option to grant external users AI access if their EID doesn't have Enterprise Plus. Thank you!

13. Ability to Dismiss Error Messages Not Just Retry

    Error messages show up every morning and there is no way to clear them other than to Retry them. They are legitimate errors where the solution was to do something different, which I did, and my initial issue was resolved. However, these error messages persist, and retrying them will always produce the same error. There is no “dismiss” option. Since retrying them will will always produce the same error, there is no way to get rid of these errors.

    Box Support documentation gives no other option but to Retry. There is nothing listed about clearing messages that cannot be resolved by retrying.

    Add a Dismiss option to the errors notification box in addition to the Retry option.

14. Request: flexibility of the pop up which notify in advance Drive users when moves of large #s of contents at once

    This release is good news for us because we have a lot of Box Drive users.

    This is additional improvement request,but it is much appreciated for us that Box admin can set #s of contents when the pop-up message is displayed to Drive users. sometimes end-users accidentaly move folders which are many users are collaborated and critical for business. So we want to display the message even if the #s of contents' are smaller than 8000.

16. Request for Specification Update: Ensuring Classification Label Overwrite Upon Folder Relocation

    When a folder that has classification labels assigned is moved into another folder governed by a classification policy with the 'Overwrite existing classification labels' option enabled, the labels are not being overwritten as expected. We kindly request that the system behavior be revised so that the existing labels are properly overwritten in accordance with the policy settings.

17. Regarding time zones in Box Shuttle notification emails

    The date and time in Box Shuttle job (running or completed) notification emails is always in the PDT time zone.

    Going forward, we would like to ask that notification emails include the job run date and time in the time zone set in Box for either the job execution account or the target account.

19. disable public links globally with exceptions

    We would like to disable public link sharing for all users, but enable a single folder public link sharing available where staff can put files that can be shared publicly. We don't want staff to accidentally share public links from other locations in Box, only from a single folder designated for public links. Otherwise, we need to move public link files to another provider, such as Google Drive.

    Scenario:
    We're setting up Box AI Agent for our HR team.

    Issues we ran into:

    Personalisation:
    We can't include usernames in the AI’s responses because account information isn’t part of the selected hub. Even when using custom instructions, this information isn’t accessible.

    Custom Questions:
    We aren’t able to add customised potential questions when setting up the AI Agent, which would help guide users and improve the experience.

    Why this matters to us:
    For HR, it’s important that people feel cared for and personally supported. Being able to personalise the AI’s responses and customise its questions would help us create a better, more human experience for our colleagues. We believe many organisations share this value and would benefit from having more flexibility in how the AI Agent can be configured.
