   Recommend an automated, timed backup onto a secure Duke folder for ToolKit folders/files to improve deleted file recovery options for a team. Now it appears that recovery of files that were deleted in a shared Duke Box Toolkit folder can only be recovered by the individual that deleted the file (not the co-owner or admin without the assistance of the individual that performed the deletion). For critical files this is a security risk to just store the files on the Box Drive because it severely limits identifying and recovering deleted files. The individual that deletes the file could do it accidentally or purposefully and others (e.g., Toolkit co-owners) may not know or have the capability to recovery the files. Furthermore, if the individual that deleted the file were still at Duke and corporative, we may be past the window for file recovery. Having a more secure back-up to recover critical deleted files would be beneficial.

3. We would like the ability to have a print button appear when one or more folders/files are selected. フォルダ/ファイルを1つ以上選択した際に印刷ボタンが表示される機能が欲しい

   The current specification allows printing from the file preview screen, but if you want to print multiple files, you have to open the preview screen one by one and press the print button, which is quite time-consuming and labor-intensive.
   Therefore, when you select one or more folders or files (including BoxNotes), we would like the "Print button" to be displayed on the folder/file screen or by pressing "More Options."
   Also, when a folder is selected, I would like to be able to print all the materials in the selected folder.

   現在の仕様ではファイルのプレビュー画面から印刷が可能となりますが、複数のファイルを印刷したい場合、1つ1つプレビュー画面を開いて印刷ボタンを押す必要があり、作業的にかなりの時間と手間がかかってしまいます。
   そのため、フォルダまたはファイル(BoxNotes含む)を1つ以上選択した際にフォルダ/ファイル画面上に「印刷ボタン」または、"その他オプション"を押すと「印刷ボタン」も表示されるようにしてほしいです。
   またフォルダを選択した場合、選択したフォルダ内の資料が全て印刷できるようにしてほしいです。

4. Bulk change link permissions for subfolders and files

   As it stands if you create a folder with shared link permissions to be invited people only and then you add files and subfolders, if you change the permissions of the parent folder to change to anyone in your company, they don't propagate, nor do files added after inherit the parent folders permissions which were changed previously. It would be good if when making a change that you are prompted to allow waterfall permissions to subfolders and files or to not. I know this can be done with CLI, but there should be an easier way for end users to apply permissions in bulk, and certainly have the contents of the file inherit the new permissions of the parent folder. It would also seem to make sense that any new files or subfolders created would inherit the new permissions.

   Thank you for the insights. At the movement each shared link is viewed as a individual unit. We will continue to gather interest in such a capability to perform bulk actions.

7. Terrible Resolution when previewing illustrator files

8. Don't files separately from directories.

   Currently a click on the "Updated" column will sort the contents of a directory by the updated date, except all folders are listed first followed by files, rather than a complete sort of both. This is frustrating and unexpected. Please just sort the entries, regardless of file or folder, so items show up where they are expected and are easier to find.

9. Make admin console reports (Folders & Files, Collaborations, Shared Links) run at scale

   I saw on the Community site that there is a 10 million item limit, but my company has way more items than that. It is important for us to have these reports for security audits.

    Allow editing of Box files directly in Teams. The current implementation of the Box integration with Teams is too limiting. Without editing, it is rather useless.

12. Expand Column for Files and Folders Report

    Sometimes I have users who ask for a files and folder report on a particular folder. After I receive the report I have to create an additional column for a link to the file/folder. I just use the existing information in the report, replace all F with f in the Item Type Column, and concatenate function in excel to create this. Would just like this to be a native addition for the report.

13. Upon folder upload via web or Drive, if any files fail due to file/path name limit, provide a list of those files

    When a file path exceeds 255 characters, the file would in some circumstances (e.g on Windows), fail from upload. When an entire folder is moved, there is no way of knowing if or how many files may have failed to upload. This is due to OS limitation, but a Box notification or a report could at least allow a manual transfer or shortening the names of the impacted files.

16. Request for Early Improvement of Upload Speed for Large Files in BoxZones Environment (excluding the United States).

    While improvements have been made in the past regarding upload speed in the NonZones environment, these improvements have not yet been implemented in the Zones　environment.

    There is no significant difference for small to medium-sized files, but there is a noticeable difference for large files of 1GB or more, with a roughly threefold gap observed in multiple upload speed measurements.

    As employees regularly upload large-sized drawings, photos, videos, and other data in their daily tasks, this disparity leads to missed opportunities and decreased productivity.

    Particularly, when transitioning from the NonZones environment to the Zones environment, it results in a deteriorated user experience.

    Therefore, we strongly request an early improvement in upload speed for large files in the BoxZones environment.

    NonZones環境では過去にアップロード速度の改善がなされておりますが、Zones環境ではそのアップロード改善がまだ実施されていません。
    ファイルサイズが小～中のファイルに関しては特に差異が無いですが、1GBファイル以上の大容量ファイルに関して差異が顕著にあり、複数回アップロード速度を計測したところ三倍程度の差がありました。
    これは社員が日々の業務でサイズが大きい図面・写真・動画データ等を多々アップロードしていますので機会損失や生産性の低下に繋がり、特にNonZones環境からZones環境に切り替えた場合にはユーザーエクスペリエンスの悪化を招いています。

    1. We should be able to type in a specific file extension in the File Type.
       Ex. I'm trying to search for all .4tx files that we have, which are old 4sight Fax documents. These files are actually TIFF images, but we need to replace the extension on all of them so we can view them in our current environment, since we don't use that really old application. Box doesn't have a way to search specifically for those extensions so I have to search all file types and end up getting way more non relevant results.

    2. If we have a file that has an incorrect file extension, we should have a way to replace that. Right now you have to download the file, rename it on the computer and then choose upload new file version. Or use box drive, which doesn't allow use to do an easier search to find all the files affected by the problem.
