1. Account provision based on invitation received.

   Case #3378972. Refer this for details.

   When someone in our domain receives an invitation to collaborate in a folder and they don’t yet have a Box account, an account will be provisioned and that user will automatically become a managed user under your enterprise instance. This is some kind of a backdoor account creation which we want to have a control on. We have account approval process where Cost Center managers review and approve the license cost. Need this capability to have a control over this way of account creation.

2. Allow Box Zones with fewer than 10 seats

   I'm in the UK so need to be GDPR-compliant and store my data here. Currently, I can't ensure my data is stored in the UK without having Box Zones, which requires 10 seats. I'm a solo business, three seats is already more than I need.

3. Add Fixed and Descriptive CSS Tags for Easier Pendo Integration

   We use Pendo to automate and manage user guidance within Box. Pendo provides automation features that allow us to automatically trigger specific AI agents, even when many agents exist.

   However, with the current Box coding rules, it is often difficult to use Pendo’s feature tagging effectively, because it is hard to uniquely identify elements for tracking or automation.

   I would like to request that Box implements a development rule to add fixed and descriptive CSS tags (classes or IDs) to relevant elements related to AI agents. This would make it easier for Pendo users to specify and control these elements, significantly improving integration and automation workflows.

5. LFO

   If you try to copy a large number of files and they become subject to LFO, please give me a warning.
   The folder was locked for a week until it was finished copying over 300,000 files, and a new folder could not be created and work could not be performed.

6. Show "Show Folder" button in banner when creating new folder.

   If the amount of content is small, there is no need to search for it, but if the amount of content is large, it will take time to search for the newly created folder after creation, which is inefficient.
   Therefore, I would like to request that this function be implemented so that I can transition to a new folder immediately after creating it.

8. AI units insights

   Add enhanced reporting capabilities to the admin console that provide more granular and visual data on AI Units consumption patterns - instead of just a number on the insights. Having the just the tile with the overall number on the insights makes it difficult to track and manage my AI units efficiently.

   I would like to have:

   Daily breakdown of consumption data
   Ability to identify workflows causing usage spikes or dips

9. Maintaining Login State via Shared Links

   We have encountered an issue with Box Hubs when accessed via shared links. Specifically, when users access a Hub page through a shared link and then navigate to folders within the Hub, the login state is not maintained. As a result, users are treated as non-logged-in visitors and cannot perform actions such as downloading files.

   This behavior effectively prevents internal sharing of Hubs using shared links, which limits collaboration capabilities.

   We kindly request that you improve the functionality so that users accessing Box Hubs via shared links can maintain their logged-in status throughout navigation within the Hub. This enhancement would greatly improve usability and facilitate smoother collaboration.

10. Direct from link directly to desktop application

    To open a file from a link that is currently a shared link or a link in the URL of a Box storage location, the following steps must be taken
    1.Click on the link
    2.Login to Box
    3.Display the preview
    4.Click "Open
    5.Launch the desktop application

    Office files are often edited in the desktop application,
    and launching Box ⇒ showing preview ⇒ launching the desktop application is a laborious process with many steps to open the file.

    Please add a new feature so that after clicking on the share link and logging in, the screen allows the user to select Preview, Download, Desktop Apps, or Office Online.
    Ideally, the specific configuration area should be any of the following.
    1.Add a setting to [Admin Console > Users and Goops > Account [Roles and Account Permissions]].
    2.Add a setting to [Admin Console > Content and Sharing > Shared Links].
    *Triggers are "collaboration privileges" or "user designation

11. Allow users to search by folder ID or URL from the save destination selection screen via Box for Office

    When saving directly to Box from Office files (Excel, etc.), we use the search function to narrow down the destination folder from the “Save to Box” screen.
    Currently, you can search by folder/file name, but if there are folders with the same name, it is often difficult to distinguish between them immediately.
    In order to avoid this problem, making it possible to search by folder/file ID or URL will improve convenience by allowing users to search only specific folders/files.

    現在、フォルダ/ファイル名で検索可能となりますが同じ名称のフォルダが存在する場合、直ぐに見分けが付かないことが多々あります。
    この問題を回避するためにもフォルダ/ファイルIDやURLで検索可能となれば、特定のフォルダ/ファイルのみ検索HITするため利便性の向上に繋がります。

12. Who invited a user?

    Bring back the column under Managed Users that tells you who invited a user. That easy bit of information is no longer there. Now you have to run a report that takes forever and may or may not give you the information.

    Searching currently enables searches by file and folder NAME, and by FOLDER ID

15. Use Box for document distribution without the need for recipients to have logins but still have dynamic watermarking displaying their email

    I’d like to see a feature that allows us to use Box to distribute documents and/or access to documents, with those documents being dynamically watermarked with the recipient’s information, regardless of whether the recipient has a Box login or not. The use case I have here is the need to distribute an important document (could be a script, treatment, call sheet) to multiple people at once using Box but respecting the fact many will not have and will not want another login for another platform (something we’re repeatedly told is the fatigue people have from having to create more and more logins for different platforms and product). Having the option to choose if you share the document as an attachment, or access to a downloadable version of the document held within Box, or a preview-only version within Box would give our teams flexibility in terms of features and security. We would need the watermark to display their email address and/or their name - the email at least would be available information because it would have been entered into the recipients field.

    I’ve tried to replicate this in Box currently and whilst you can achieve the sharing without sign-up when you select the 'people with the link' 'can view only' options, it only displays a generic IP address and time/date stamp (so does not meet our requirement for the watermarking).

16. The ability to create any folder in My Collection in Box.

    When creating a My Collection that collects existing related files in a project, for example, if you organize them as "Project A", there is a disadvantage that it will be difficult to find them even if you add each of them to the created My Collection.
    To resolve this issue, we would like to request the implementation of a feature that would make it easier to find files by creating folder names related to each file within the created My Collection.

    例えば「プロジェクトA」として纏めると、それに関連する資料が大量にある場合、作成したマイコレクションにそれぞれ追加しても探しづらくなるデメリットがあります。

17. I want to be able to bulk rename files and folders within a specified folder

    Bulk renaming files and folders in a specified Box folder though the web interface is a missing feature.

    It would be helpful to be able to do so, as often clients or projects change name and the "CompanyA - content of the folder" or "ProjectA - content of the folder" names need to be renamed as "CompanyB - content of the folder" or "ProjectB - content of the folder".

    When a company or project folder contains hundreds or thousands of names a string command like "rename text *** to text YYY in al files and folder names" could be extremely helpful (as an example, on MacOSX there's a Finder script for this). This feature is not available on the Box web interface.

    In addition, add missing data in Response certain event types such as:

    • Folder delete doesn't give file path

    Within our company, when we ask for someone to sign a pledge we have to request them to fill it out each time, which takes time and effort.
